Bridge Bier Huis - Home
The Bridge Bier Huis is the place to drink in Burnley. It's a friendly, modern pub with a great atmosphere and serves the widest range of beer for miles around. Up to six cask conditioned ales or ciders are available at any time including the excellent Hydes Original bitter. Food is served during the day and regular live entertainment ensures there is always something going on inside.
Inside the Bier Huis (Dutch for "beer house") you can literally sample a whole world of beer! There's a lot more on offer besides the top choice of real ales and ciders, lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. You can taste at least five foreign beers on tap or choose to open a bottle of German smoked beer, American porter, Belgian fruit lambic, Czech black lager or anything else from our eclectic selection of over 40 bottled beers. Try something new every time you call in...
The Bridge is a free house and has been recognised by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) for the quality of its cask conditioned ales. It regularly appears in the national Good Beer Guide as well as the new local ale guide entitled Witch Beer? It is also the proud holder of several awards: CAMRA East Lancs Pub of the Year 2007 & 2009, Lancashire Branches POTY 2007, West Pennine Regional POTY 2007 (one of the top 16 real ale pubs in the country) and most recently East Lancs POTY 2012 & Lancashire Branches POTY 2012. The Bridge is recommended by the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group for serving good beer and food too.
